Got a wrist issue.....don't know WTF, but all my guitars are killing it lately after about 30 minutes. I have the GT and a few LTDs and a Horizon, and they're all either too thick or too medium sized, I guess. Wanted to try something thinner, so enter this.
J Craft, MIJ, mahog body, maple top, 5 piece neck, Gibraltar bridge (these things rule hard) Deactivator bridge and PAF Pro neck. Nice and light at around 7 lbs, sounds like a monster. It's in drop B, and the Deactivator is tight enough but got some sludgy grit to it that I dig. From everything I've read, I was prepared to change it out for something tighter like a Black Winter immediately, but no need. I'm not super picky on pickups, I just know if I like them or not. This one stays. See what happens with the guitar...neck is a shit ton thinner than I'm used to so it'll take some time. If no good, it goes and I'm onto the next.
Far as the sticker/paint go, the sticker is already gone and I'm unsure about the paint. I don't know what it is or how long it's been on there, if it's UV resistant etc.....so I don't know if I remove it there might be a massive clean patch that doesn't match the guitar. It's a lot better looking in person, the camera can't capture it. Undecided, but anyone got any ideas? Acetone maybe? Kind of seems like it wants to live there...

Thanks to the RT Nation for coming thru with a massive amount of good guitars for a WTB ad, and garey77 for the deal!
