Been looking for one for awhile and just picked it up last month, I had Michael Tuttle do a stainles steel 6100 refret on it and he did a fantastic job! Just plays killer, ash body just like my Ibanez Destroyer of the same era, swapped out the original pickups and put a Duncan '59 in the bridge and Gibson Burstbucker in the neck, pretty happy with the tone so far, short crappy phone video below, playing thru my Suhr modded Marshall JCM 800 50 watt

Nice! Happy NGD. I have had a few of those V's & Destroyers over the years. Great guitars.
Awesome playing as always on the clip too.

Nice one you Got there man, I love those old Ibanez guitars. I was looking for a rocket roll II for years, finally found one last winter. Great condition too.

Awesome!
My buddy found one at a garage sale years ago, great guitars. He has a Destroyer, too.

Id love to find a Destroyer to match my V. Ultimate duo. They play super nice. Frets need leveling though, i might have it refreted with stainless ones. Wéll see.

The dude I bought this V from was also selling a 70's Destroyer but it went quick! almost wanted to make him an offer on both!

Ripping playing. Congrats on your NGD
Thanks!

Just watched the vid, nice solo man!!!! I like your picking, very precise. Well not Gilbert precise but pretty spot on.

You should of went for both, these are nice guitars. I'm sure the stainless frets are nice, what wire did you for?

I was thinking jumbo for my refret but it's a vintage guitar so I'm maybe leaning more towards a more classic fret wire. We'll see.

Anyways, nice guitar and playing man.

Yes I would have went for both, but already have a '76 Destroyer, I agree nice guitars!

I went with the Jescar 6100 jumbo fretwire, same stuff that Suhr uses on his guitars, I love stainless frets! once u go stainless u can't go back to the regular stuff haha
