This thing is clean! Nice alder body, it's been babied, I just wish it were routed so I could put a humbucker in the bridge. Now I am deciding between the JB Jr., ToneZone S, or Super Distortion S for the bridge? Any thoughts

is that a floyd II on that thing
It's actually a Schaller
did some one replace the floyd
I had a MIJ strat from around 92-93 that had a factory installed floyd II on it

No, i bought it from a lady that played professionally. She bought it new. The little information I coul find showed that they used schallers int 87-88 and switched to kahlers for a little bit then went to the Floyd II

If you're bridge looks like my old MIJ Floyded Strat, and the string ball loads in the back end (single locking) then it is a Schaller Floyd Rose II....better materials and construction, but still single locking.

YUp, it's like that. Thanks for the information

I love the JB Mini in my MIJ strat. I ran get all kinds of rock and even metal tones.

Nice pickup. Those MIJ fenders from the late 80's are nice guitars and good values. Does your strat weigh a ton? My '88 Fender contemporary Tele is pretty heavy for a Fender guitar.
