New to me. I love this guitar! After owning an R8, R9, and R0 and selling them, I thought I was done with singlecut type guitars. But this one does it all. It lets my big hands work...

Here is a quick jam I made with it this evening:

Almost 3/4" in some sections. They didn't skimp. The Mahogany has really nice grain as well. It's just shy of 9lbs.

I always thought those were cool guitars....Aluminum tailpiece? and what pups are in it?

Pups were made by DiMarzio. They are a little hot resistance wise, but very articulate and clean up well with the volume knob. Hot PAF voicing on the neck and reminiscent of a Super Distortion in the bridge position. When I first got the guitar, I was ready to replace the pups until I tried them. No need. This guitar is perfect as is for my needs...

It's almost like you were playing thru a custom amp you made yourself..
