It arrived. 2013 Pro Mod Candy Apple Blue. After 5 post-2016 MiM duds in a row, I made an offer on this beast. In 2013, they still had quarter sawn maple necks, Grover tuners, gloss paint (LoL). It plays fantastic. Installed a brass block, set up with elixir 9-42s. Ordering a set of Suhr Aldrich zebras. Aside from a little ding near the bridge, it’s near mint





 
Veddy nice!! Hopefully the quality is as you expected from the previous Mexi models you encountered.
 
Even the neck profile and finish feels different. These are more comfortable and raw feeling
 
Guitars like this are the reason I've tried to be a strat guy...killer score bro, I love that lake placid blue. Now you gotta beat the hell out of it and get that relic vibe going on.

Just got another MJT reliced body. Roasted Alder. Going to order another Musikraft roasted maple neck. Adding an aged nickel Floyd and aged double creams with brass hardware. It’s going to look killer
