Saw this and couldn't resist. I even paid the $300 to have it 2 day shipped here from the complete opposite side of the country lol, you Im nuts and impatient.
So what we have here is a 40th Anniversary Eclipse Custom Shop, and what an amazing guitar it is. Came in unplayed just like the seller said, literally looks like it hasn't been touched outside of the quick video studio ears did with it. It is CRAZY resonant unplugged, more so than most guitars I've owned. Not sure if that equates to anything but I always look for guitars that resonate so much you can feel it in your whole body. Obviously the attention to detail is what you would expect from a custom shop ESP. Love the little touches like the flame maple binding with luminlays and the sparkle colored back.
Im still pretty stunned at actually having one of these here but right off the bat I liked the feel of it, kind of like how I felt when I picked up my Anderson(which despite putting up for grabs a few times is still with me and not going anywhere....atm)

Damn that's awesome. I thought I was in the classified section and was like holy shit I want that. I kept going back looking for the price. Took me a few to realize it wasn't for sale.

I love it!! Call blasphemy. But if I was going to buy another "Les Paul'. It will be a ESP Eclipse custom. Had 3 Gibson Paul's. 2 were custom shop. Just couldn't gel.
Played a ESP and man.... just felt great.
Nice score!!

Nice! Like the luminlays. I've got a guitar that resonates like you talked about. I can feel it in my chest especially with the low single notes and palm mutes. I feel like when you have an axe like that it just has that xtra something "mojo". It delivers that punchy tone.

what ever happened with that amazing flamed top esp you had? send it back to guitar center?

That is just stunning. I've always had great guitars from ESP. I'm sure you will enjoy this. Congratulations

While I mean everything I said about this one, it's probably going up for grabs(for exactly the same price I paid for it!) 2 months ago all this new gas started over getting into another Anderson or ordering a Suhr but we all know what happens when the money is in hand. This guitar really is amazing but my gas has only gotten worse since it came in now that I found another Anderson that is haunting my dreams
