Pretty bummed out that I had slept on this guy for so long. I was waiting for them to put out a 50watt stealth before I pulled the trigger but this came up as a trade I couldn't refuse.

Amazing tone, and absolutely stellar clean channel. And way too much gain if that's even a thing. Can't wait to gig this thing, as it sounds incredible through my 2x12.

Anyone have any setting they would care to share, or recommend a boost that works well with the blue channel? My TS9 sounds amazing in the red but is lacking that certain balls that it gives to my Mesa's...

As far as a 50w Stealth, Jens Kruse in Cali does offer mods to these that bring it to Stealth specs. I think his mods are around 4-500? When I had one I think I used an eq pedal to do any boosting.....but I didn't really gig with it much. I had it as a backup to a Jubilee. They sound GREAT through a Hendrix/Vintage Modern Marshall cab..better than the EVH cab IMO. Celestion G12C greenies in those. Hard to find though. HNAD!

Congrats! I think these amps are really cool and it's lasted longer as my main amp than any amp in a good while.

As far as boosts go I really like the Koko Boost on my 5153 50w. Works well on all the channels IMHO.

I had the Koko but I'm using. The bulb deluxe overdrive with it. The pedal casing is pretty lame but the pedal itself sounds really good with the blue ch. everything around noon sounds good with these amps. Nothing in my amp is below 11 o'clock or over 1 o'clock including the gain

I really like the MXR Classic Overdrive (which is the same pedal as the GT-OD & ZW-44) with the blue channel.

I've had excellent results with a Boss SD-1 and an Exotic EP Pre boost.

As far as settings, bass noon to 1:00, mids 11:00, treble 12:00 pres 1:00, res 1:00

Today at work I was trying out an SD-1 through the blue channel and it sounded killer. I was playing through various cabs , and a Bogner 2x12 with Greenbacks sounded best.

I've been using just the typical Maxon OD 808, volume full, gain at 0 just because it's been on my board forever... I'll have to swap it out for that SD-1 I've got lying around for a little and try that out I guess

The Maxon OD9 pro plus is the overdrive to use if you want a fatter boosted channel 2.

Congrats on the amp!

Definitely love the 808 and the Suhr boost but for some reason neither of them sounded as full as I wanted them to sound at band volume and lacked the balls I was hoping for. I'm definitely considering trying a walrus audio voyager as I've heard they add some clarity and punch to it.

The Boss OD1X seems to add some clarity to the JMP 2203 I just got a few weeks ago. Sounds good with an SD1, but adding the OD1 brings on more definition.

Echoplex preamp type boosts work great with it. I personally use a Clinch Fx Pico Pre.
