Build date 1/31/86. Fat Ebony board, must've had a re fret because they feel new. EMGs aren't my thing, but they sound pretty good here. Had some use with some dings/scratches here and there, but plays great and after cleaning up the Kahler stays in tune well. Serial 119X. Neck is a slightly thinner profile than the 85 Charvel I had. Good score for 400!

Awesome score! Congrats and looks great, yeah EMG's are good but not my thing either although they are fun to play thru once in awhile for the heavy stuff and definitely unique and have a place for sure!

You're killing me with that. DIBS!!! Awesome new guitar day buddy. That thing looks killer

USA Jacksons from that era are under-valued in my opinion. The only difference between that guitar and an original, USA San Dimas 80's Charvel is a logo and 1 year.

that's awesome !! just recently I scored my second Jackson ever and I love it!! cool guitar dude!!

Thanks guys! Yeah its got more of a dinky body than a strat, although they didn't call them dinkys then. Pretty heavy, wonder if its Maple? Just love the thick fretboards the put on Charvels and Jacksons back then..damn thing is 1/2 inch thick. Fun guitar.

Ha! Well maybe we can work something out when you tire of that amp you have coming....

Of course, I'd have to sell one of my two vehicles to make it fair.
