So it finally came in and I'm really digging it. I put the click locks on and I'm stringing it with 10-52, like I use on my other guitars. I'm gonna swap out the bridge for a Duncan Lil 59 but was wondering should I go to a higher range pot like a 500? Or keep the stock 250's in?

is that the LTD? if so I've been considering one, tell me if it is worth buying or if i should move up to the mexi fender in your opinion.

I NEED one Tele. just one.

I'd say try it with the 250k and see what you think. I usually swap out to a 500k to get some of that tele spank back, but you may dig the pickup with the high end roll off. Easy enough to change out a pot on a Tele.

Dude, I've always been a big Les Paul/Eclipse guy with guitars, so this is my first Tele project. As of right now, I love it. Even with the lame, stock single coil, I made it sound pretty good. For what you pay, it's really hard to beat. I'm doing the pickup swap in the bridge and swapping out the tuners for good ones. (recommendations please)

I like the neck shape a lot. So far the biggest things I dislike are how you string through the back, and when you make adjustments, it takes forever, because you're adjusting each saddle.

If you can find one local to play, give it a shot.

I bought it as a fixer upper and as my first tele, but I'm really stoked on it.

I'm gonna do that, man. See how I feel and just change out if I feel like it needs it. Thanks for the heads up!

Should be ordering the Lil 59 soon. I'm pumped on this project.

Dude i would just stay with a nice single in the bridge.. I put a '59 in one of my teles a couple years ago and it just ruins the character o them imo.. Working on an esquire build this year with a custom neck and a slightly warmed up fralin in the bridge. I love the sound of a jangly tele thru a hot amp!

I've had good luck with Planet Waves locking tuners. I've put them on 3 of my guitars.

I've been thinking about it a lot, man. Especially with the BKP Piledriver.
