Oops I did it again! This baby comes with an EMG 81 and it sounds massive! D tuning - super low action - it plays like butter! The previous owner removed the middle pup and also swapped the neck SD to a Di Marzio one. This baby was born in 1997 and the neck is to die for! Clips to come soon!

Nice!!! congrats , love the lightning sky too.
my SL-1 is my workhorse, if I could only keep one guitar out of my collection , that would be it.
 
I've got a '93 Erie Dess SL1, one of the best playing guitars I've ever owned...congrats!

Just to nitpick ever so slightly, they didn´t call it the SL1 until about 1996-1997 when they settled on the OFR and the Duncans and came out with the Select line with tons of finishes. Every SL1 is a Soloist, but not every Soloist is a SL1. Always great guitars, though!
