And now for something a little different...

I have a stable of Mayones Duvells in various exotic tone woods. Thought I'd try one of these since they are 100% synthetic. Been about 4-5 months wait time and it just arrived today. Feels pretty cool. Very light. Sounds like a guitar! The case it comes with is interesting. A soft case. But the inside is like molded to the guitar's shape and has a reinforcement at the neck. Pretty trick.

Hard color to photograph. It's an aqua-marine type of color. But in the light the highlights turn a green tint of sorts. Looks like one of those old retro refrigerators lol.

Alpha/Omega pickups.

Haven't had a lot of time with it yet. But so far, it sounds like a guitar

I need to try it through a few different amps to get a feel for it. Right off the bat, though, I'm finding my pinky finger on my picking hand tends to hit the volume control because it's a bit close to the strings. But no real playability issues. The neck feels really cool. Very fast. The whole guitar is one piece so it all resonates together.

I thought that was the whole deal with these guitars. The special material and one piece so it resonates really well

I have one of these myself and it's probably my next favorite to my knaggs severn. It has super sleek playability and sounds louder and more resonant than all my other 13 guitars except my knaggs which has more. It does sound different though than wooden guitars. Maybe a bit rounder or less aggressive sounding, but kinda hard to describe exactly the difference and don't let that description turn you off. At first I didn't like its sound as much, but I've grown to like it a lot now and find it sounds very even/balanced with very good clarity and like I said louder and more resonant than most guitars except knaggs. It also sounds way better with its stock bareknuckles than any other guitars I've heard with them. I'm still gonna swap em out since they still aren't to my taste, but I think it's a great sign that it already sounds so good with even bareknuckles. I also heard they don't need setups since they're Arium instead of wood. Overall I've been quite impressed with all the Aristides I've tried and mine is definitely a keeper for now.

Anyway, congrats on the new guitar and I also really like that color! Mine is a dark red, but I prefer the look of of yours

Yeah, the neck shouldn't move around seasonally I guess.

I was on their website once , quickly looking at guitars and didn't even notice that they were molded , one piece guitars . Very interesting . Looking forward to a full report .

I love it, that is awesome looking. Really want one of these big time. Congrats, love the color too.
