What is a tension free neck?

Its a neck with a metal plate instead of a rod That takes all the tension off and is easy to adjust..Feels like playing on air..
The USRGs Had these two awesome playing..Its his specialty..

I have a purple USRG and love it to death I have tried several guitars they dont compare ..How much will a trekker set ya back if you do not mind me asking .I would love to get another RG but they are like 2000 +
