Ah, that's OK from a "collectable" standpoint. You've got a heck of player. You basically resurected it from the dead, and that's something. Not many of those guitars around any more. I can remember when you used to be able to call Jackson with the WO# or the plate number and they would fax you a copy of the original work order with all the specs. I had one similar to yours, but when I received it.. man, was it butchered. Somebody had decided it would be a good idea to pull all the frets out from the top and it chipped the fretboard something awful. I took it a local luthier and he refretted it, and filled all the chips with rosewood dust/superglue. Looked pretty good when he got done with it. The tip of the headstock had been knocked off, and was kind of rounded and the body had been stripped. Had the original San Dimas plate on it, back when everyone was selling them for like $500-600. I could have easily parted it out, but played so good so I thought it would be a crime. I got the WO from Jackson, and turns out it was candy apple red, two hum with Floyd from the factory. Had the rosewood board, but I always kind of thought of it as a "Jack Butler" guitar. LOL
