I started to buy all the parts for my charvel when I came across this close out for 599.00 locally
one question I am new to the tongue oiled necks and there is a spot where the guitar was hanging on the peg
where the neck meets the headstock. What can I use to clean it?
Here is a link to the pic

Pic is just of the guitar. I don't see a spot that needs cleaning on the neck. My guess without even seeing it is going to be #0000 steel wool.

OK, #0000 steel wool. Use it on the back of the neck when ever you want it to instantly feel better and smoother and cleaner. use it on the fretboard and on the frets everytime you change strings to polish the frets and clean off the finger shmutz that builds up. The neck will still get dark and dirty as the oils from your hands work their way into it, but you don't need to leave the build up on the fretboard.

Make sure the steel wool has four zeroes on it though. Any other rating will be too abrasive. You can buy it at Home Depot or Ace Hardware.
