You can tell by the last pic below I kinda have a hang-up about pickup configs, so I decided to get something in the mix for more versatility. Nabbed this custom shop San Dimas HSS and couldn't be happier! I won't gush about the guitars feel, playability of the neck, overall quality, etc, just leaving at it's the finest playing guitar I've personally ever owned. That said, I've never crossed paths with an Anderson or Suhr so I suppose my palate is weak!
I'm guessing some may not luv the finish. Some will. I like it big time, think it's earthy looking yet also has flair (or, better still, "it's gaudy enough but not too gaudy"
). It's supposedly a one of a kind finish, think only 3 or 4 have been done with this method, and all are unique variations of it at that. The Floyd is German. The tuners are Schaller. The Duncans are a Custom 5, STK S1N, STK S1N. The neck is ultra refined and smooth, feels like melted butter.
