Curt , my luck never ceases to amaze me.
In the end, I am such a detail kinda person I guess details gotta get messed up somewhere, somehow.
so since they never or hardly ever do when I handle my business and or dealings then the law of averages and the order of things say the flaws or fall off will come into play directly to me or all around me.
I guess if I just developed the whatever is good enough attitude. Well my own personal luck would be alot better. Who knows ?

congrats on the guitar
looks killer

I had a similar story
I bought something from weber
weber put the right address down, but fed ex mis spelled the street name....and delivered it around the corner to a place that had nothign to do with the mis spelled street name

I met the guy later on after I had picked it up myself
the guy could not speak english and was really really really high

:) Played this charvel for a decent lenght of time tonite.
WOW! I spent very little time mucking with the tuning and more time playing.
Sure does feel good to have that old G string as my friend and not my advisary like alot of the time spent playing the ole Les-pauls.
Still love my pauls though.
But my hats off to Curt and the guys once again for selling me this Halloween.mopar based color scheme axe. Ya know the funny thing I got hooked into running that neck pick up and had the volume of a modded plexi backed down and spent soo much time blues rock jamming with a cleaner than usual tone.
Just was having so much fun, the time spent running the fretboard pulling pentatonics licks from hell was Cool for a change and not the same ole same ole. Comgrats to anyone else thta pulled the trigger on one of these Charvels.

That's a sweet guitar that you have there. I was torn between the candy green So-Cal and this exact model. I grabbed the So-Cal. I can't put it down.

Awesome man! I'm glad you like it! I have the same issue when I play Les Pauls. I can't keep them in tune if my life depended on it. Heck, I grew up on Les Pauls and the first time I played a Charvel (in 1984) I was like "are you freaking kidding me?" My 1980 Les Paul Custom has probably 10 hours on it since 1984. :D I've owned two dozen other Les Pauls since, mainly because they are just so beautiful, but they just seem to want to fight me all the way.

Wait till you break that neck in after several hundred hours ;)

 This I tell you is no lie.
This is the first time I have ever had any kinda hard time deciding  between my next money going out for another amp to be modded or another guitar. [Charvel of course].....
Usually with the guitars I already have , mostly all les-pauls, it would be a no brainer.. amp all the way. Now after getting this mutha and playing it like I did tonite. Geesh! I really gottta give serious thought to either,
A: getting the guitar 1st.
B: getting the amp done 1st or,
C : finding a way to get both.
D: Just holding off and doing nothing.
I will go ahead and tell you friggin D.....is not even a consideration.  C is the one I favor but A or B may be reality without scheming or telling the wife falsehoods.

You guy's are killing me! I prefer mahoghany to alder and I've tried Floyds enough times to know that I don't like them, yet I'm dying to try one of these so bad!!! Oh, the GAS pains....crippling... GAS pains....

Charvels rule all, the new ones or the San Dimas ones from the early to mid eighties. Now just buy one more from me. Make you a killer deal! :D
