So I scored a brand new Charvel neck from Todd (Victim5150) and scored a Jackson Adrian Smith body on Reverb. dropped on a NOS SD Screamin Demon, mini Schaller tuners, FR, a kill switch and a 3 way toggle and this is what I got

Love it so far! heavy guitar and lots a sustain.

Nate, where did get the pickguard? Love the S-H configuration.

That looks (and I am sure plays) fantastic!
Is the neck Mexican? And the body, does it come from the US version of the Adrian Smith? Most importantly, how does it sound!?!

I also have two Adrian Smiths and a Japanese So Cal which may be need to be combined...

Sancho-

Thanks! It does indeed look and sound great!!

Then neck came off of a brand new San Dimas so that would be a Mexican neck.
The body is the import version .

The shop did have to shim the neck to get it where the action was perfect for me

The kill switch is cool. Once thing FMIC is cheap on is shielding.. my shop added shielding to the wiring cavity to make everything right..

That is great, thanks so much for the answer. I am glad you mentioned that some adjustment was necessary (apart from the usual compatibilities and incompatibilities between Fenders, Charvels, Jacksons...).

Enjoy that beauty!

Thanks, Sancho

BTW just noticed that today was your first post in the forum! Congrats brother

Cool guitar!! Is there any difference between the NOS Duncan Screamin Demon and the current ones? I just put a full size one in the bridge of my Jeff Beck Strat and I love it. I also had a Screamin Demon in my 1984 Charvel before sold it. It is a GREAT pickup.

Can u tell me the model number of the tuners u used? In going to chrome out 2 Charvels and need to know which tuners to buy. Thank you.

The tonal quality on the NOS is better for sure. Easier to pull harmonics and chords arpegiate more clearly for sure bud

Thank you! I have been learning a lot from you all for a while, but Adrian Smiths are some of my favorite guitars and your great guitar very well deserved a first post. :)
