Saw a YouTube demo by Euge (Dracula) and thought the guitar was awesome. It came today. Not much to set-up, it was almost perfect out of the box.
Played it acoustically for a while then plugged it into the JEL20 to make sure the pu's worked.
Just a wicked ripping guitar. 7 1/2lb Mahogany body. Came w/ a nice case. My new #1!

Yep, the recessed Floyd is a dealbreaker on what would otherwise be a very sweet guitar for me.

Stupid old habit of keeping plastic on footswitches so they don't get scratched up!

Those Jim Root EMG's are actually pretty great. I bought a set once not expecting much (I don't like Slipknot), but I was pleasantly surprised.

Good to hear the overseas/MiM versions are killer. Those first Mexican versions ten yrs back were iffy.

I played one a few weeks ago and loved the jumbo frets and loved the sound of the emg’s in the room. While based in an 81, I thought it sounded nothing like an 81.
