NGD Charvel Pointy Reissue 2006

USA Charvel pointy reissue, maybe 2003? We're not sure, I'll do some homework on the serial after it gets here.

So this thing is a gnarly badass......super solid axe, the D-Tuna is a sick idea that I've never messed with before, just pull it out and wham, another tuning. Dig it.

JB gotta go, something else coming in for it.....grabbed a Bourns pot this morning too. Needs a setup and I'm super busy lately, fortunately the best tech in SLC is a bud. Going into drop B cause reasons.

Also hit the Charvel database.....looks like mine is a 2006, and they have a pic of it when new lol:

Those are great guitars, I've had 3 others, the last I sold to Maddnotez here on RT. That was a black single hum like yours, GC had it listed as a Model 1. Lol.
They were all built in the custom shop, so the wood is top notch as is the build. There is a rep that you can email on when it was built and all the specs.

Dude I shit you not, J has like 100 guitars, and just saved this one because his buddy was going to trade it into GC...I don't know that he ever even played it, he's a LP guy for life.

I sold a black one with ebony 3 years ago for $950. Nobody wanted it. I was stupid for selling it.

Yeah that’s the JB. Going with a Black Winter; I mostly play in drop B and the JB just turns into a mess below drop C for the gain levels I dig.

Yeah I agree. Only ever dig the JB or similar pickups in standard or no lower than Drop Db.
Looking forward to clips with the Black Winter.
