An iconic guitar for me because Jeff used it with Beck Bogart Appice. An all- time favorite band of mine. I had Sweetwater Plek it.
Their 55 point inspection is a joke and despite giving them specific set-up instructions, I had to totally set it up myself.
Sounds and plays great. I haven’t owned many Les Pauls in my guitar playing life, so it will take a bit of getting used to. Nice chunky neck too.
Got 9-42 on it, but I may put on 8’s as Jeff used back then.

Congrats. I bet that is killer guitar and great bang for buck. Epiphone has been putting out some good guitars lately. I have a EPI 355 1959 Custom shop inspired and it kicks ass. I like it better than my USA 335 and my PRS 594 Core HB 2

Thanks man,, the quality is so good on it. I’m looking at that white SG with the three humbuckers

I never had a plek done before. I guess I figured it should be damn well setup and ready to play after that?

But count me among those saying Fapiphone is putting out some great guitars.

I played a few at the local Retard Center and every one I grabbed sounded and played great. I ended up buying a Gibson LP Modern though.

But the Epiphones kept calling me. I ordered a couple from Cream City Music during a sale. An Epiphone LP Modern and an LP Prophecy.

Love them both. They have 10 Top Vermeers. Haha.

Not feeling it at all. Looks like shit.
Oxblood is the color of shit, I agree.
The original owner wanted them to repaint the guitar to the color of his shoes.
Guitar has a cool history, and I would never consider it, but Jeff used it in Beck Bogert Appice, one of my alltime favorite bands.

Me I went in for a backup amp....... At Retard Center.....

Checked these out, bought the amp at the store...... then bought the guitars online.... Two 59 Standards and couldn't be happier ^_^

I'm glad you're happy with your new Fapiphones @The~Kid as I know from your posts you're very particular and drive a hard bargain when you look for gear.

I really dislike guitars with that bridge I've dubbed the "failpiece" but otherwise that thing is super hot
I know. There is a sound to it however.
If there was no Jeff Beck connection, I would never have even noticed this guitar.
