NGD - ESP Custom Shop Lynch

I picked up this killer guitar. ESP built this for Lynch. I found him at the Monsters of Rock cruise playing it(link below), through a Wizard at one point and it sounded really good. This guitar plays pretty much effortlessly, really fun to play. Here are some pics and a vid of Lynch playing it. The neck feels great and I love the ebony board. The guitar sounds really thick, yet tight and articulate, especially through my friedman. ESP Custom Shop nailed it with this guitar. Perhaps because they built it knowing it was going to Lynch so they made sure it was perfect.

I've been drinking so....
But, aren't those two diff guitars? Or was it modded? The one GL is playing has only two pots on the guard...the bottom pics have 3 pot.

third one was added on for appearance, it doesn't do anything. the volume is also a push/pull splitting humbucker and adding it to other single coils

I would think that he changed the pickguard to fit 3 bigger size knobs evenly spaced but I will ask the guy I got it from.

yeah, it was changed, spoke to the guy I got it from. I guess you would have to ask him why he thought it would look better. personally I think it looks better now than with the two smaller knobs, even though the added knob serves no purpose.
