i dont get to play my esp....its going back to CA for a custom neck to be reordered from japan because the neck is deffective.....

ESP wont get any more money from me. they've dropped the ball on customer service, product quality, and if they drop the ball on the warranty and blame it off on other things they drop the ball in even caring about their name anymore.
I contacted them about getting my NT-II looked at and they were pretty useless. When I inquired about having it fixed, they told me unless it buzzes above a certain action, it's not covered. Don't remember the exact height, but it was well above what I consider acceptable.

yeah the guy over the phone says it has a lifetime warranty but they want the whole guitar and their head luthier has to accept quality fault.

i sent detailed pics and the dude over the phone says "i cant see anything wrong with it"

my half deaf and half blind grandfather can see what is wrong with it and knows nothing of guitars

if there is a lifetime warranty, then why is at the discretion of a single person?

truss rod issues and shrinking wood is the problem. we will see how far ESP will go to satisfy their customers. i can already tell you the ESP custom i was going to order, i will be building out of parts and doing it myself. after the quality of this guitar i can tell you Made in USA DOES still mean something.

fret ends not rounded
fret tangs sharp/showing
one of the floyd posts were installed at an angle forward (supposed to be 90*)
poor wood finish - wood grain seen through the paint
clear coat not polished to a sheen/faded from factory
shit wiring job and hardware - pots feel cheap - nothing solid like my wolfgang's or a bournes.

list goes on and on. more will be wrote about on this topic in a seperate post one day for all of rig-talk to read about dont worry, im waiting on ESP to get me the RMA information. so far its been 2 weeks and they struggle to even do that

FWIW guitar for guitar my prestige shits all over this ESP in quality and fit/finish

Are you guys F'N SERIOUS!?!?!?? Holy shit - that's pretty bad man... Seriously, that's really very uncool of ESP. I've NEVER had to deal with their customer service and/or warranty, thankfully. I'd be uber pissed if this was their reaction to problems I'd have with either of my 2 guitars.

Not cool. Sorry to read this gents.

yeah im burned out on it. 2 years since i placed the order on this guitar and its looking like it will be 2.5-3 years before its playable. i placed payment in august 2009.

Mega fail on their part. Sucks.

I'm lucky I suppose, the 2 I have are excellent, extraordinary guitars to play, listen to, set up, plug in, and examine the detail of... Perfect. Both we bought in '09 They're flawless.

yea saw that one up there on the site, you shoulda waited for them to price drop it again lol ....

i had an MII but i sold it a few months ago, the thing was amazing like all esp's ive owned.

keep the EMG's in there ... if thats going to be your metal guitar, there isnt a better pickup for straight up metal than EMG's
