Hey RT

I just ordered a EVH Stealth Special. I've had a Peavey Standard Deluxe before and hope this is close! MiM so it may be a roll of the roulette wheel

It doesn't come with a case (WTF)
The EVH case is like 179, the evh bag looks flimsey and is still around 69 or 79.
Anybody have a good idea on a 3rd party case that would fit well for around 100? Maybe one of those Rondo models?

Also may want a big block- what's the right size on this?

Thanks in advance....Tap on!

is this question too easy or too hard?
Maybe any LP/strat style case will do (?)

Hey man congrats...I was just looking at these last night...They look killer..But I thought they were MIJ?

They were years ago with vintage frets
It is Mexico now with Jumbo frets
Arrives tomorrow!

Im actually not sure which one I'm getting
The title says Stealth Maple fretboard
But the pic has a dark fretboard
& there is no Stealth that has a maple fretboard - that one is called gloss black

The dude awaits..

So you bought a guitar and you're not sure which one? Weird. The frets are jumbo on the mim model and it is an arch top so hopefully you get the model you prefer.

My opinion is the EVH case is not worth that price. I have one which has cracked is multiple places and the latches have broken. I have dropped it a few times so I guess it not supposed to be indestructible, but the latches chipped too easily over time, even without trauma.

One advantage of the evh case is you can leave the floyd arm in place in the case.

I would pay $100 tops for the evh case. Mine was included with the stealth model made in Japan.

Depends what you are using the case for but,

For that $179 I would buy a different case, I use an skb iseries waterproof case that weighs a ton but is solid and used you can get one for $125 to $150.

The "strat" model series fits nicely.

It's a sweetwater typo I'm guessing? It's Ebony board.

Arrived!
It plays like butter right out of the box; so happy

F*@k, this guitar rules in every way. I may put some thicker strings and tune down a step on for preference, but I am reallllly digging this axe. I may need to try a USA model at some point but anybody checking this out take note- I give it a 10/10!

I still need me a case. i'll hold off on the brass block for now because I really like the tonez as is.
