Haven't seen too many of these out in the wild yet, so I figured I'd throw it up.

Started out searching for an older hard tail Strat, then newer ones, then found the JR Strat and then this. It was over. I held out about 6 hrs before I caved. Neck is fatter than the Strats I've had and I dig that. Schaller locking tuners and strap locks, Fender hard tail bridge, brushed chrome EMGs which sound fat as fuck in this guitar. About 9 1/2 lbs. Solid mahogany body and ebony board with jumbos. Fretwork is great. I dig the 70s headstock too. REALLY comfortable to play sitting or standing.
Been slamming it for a couple of hours....stays in tune great and it's really easy to play. I'm impressed...Root really knows how to spec out a minimalist instrument that plays and sounds great. The Strat might have to be next.
