Put this on layaway yesterday at Kat's guitars in the woodlands!
It's a 1994 G&L custom shop made for the guitarist of AXE. 59 in the bridge, Jeff beck in the neck, titanium tuners, big brass block on the Floyd, and the fretboard is a very dark beautiful ebony. Alder body too. Never had a glitter/sparkly guitar but there's always a first time!

G&L Does such a great job on those, and their glitter paint jobs are so friggin cool!

Thanks guys! I have no idea what a 1994 custom shop is worth but I picked it up for 1400? think that's a good deal? the craftsmanship and hardware is worth that to me regardless of where or who made it really.
 
Looks great. Never had a glitter guitar before either, but I bet that looks great on stage.
 
Nice. You sure the jb is in the neck and the 59 in the bridge? kinda weird. I've got a '93 Legacy that I love, not a custom shop guitar but I picked up almost two years ago for five and a half bills, not bad.
 
Beautiful, congrats...I dig sparkles. As was mentioned, I hope you got the pickup placing reversed...what you stated makes little sense.
 
G&L makes some killer axes...very underrated for sure. Congrats!
 
I always call those "sparkle" paint jobs and I dig 'em, grats!!
 
Looks like an Invader. Great guitars. I've been jonesin' for a Legacy for a few years now. Problem is I can't decide between straight up vintage style or more modern with hum's and maple cap etc.
