Bought this off of eBay after I sold my M-II and it just arrived today. I bought it because I love all mahogany Gibson guitars with the 500T in the bridge, but I honestly wasn't expecting this to sound as good as an Explorer or a Les Paul just because it was so cheap. I have to say though, I'm really impressed with it. It doesn't feel or sound cheap at all. It sounds very thick, has tons of crunch, and just has that Gibson character to it. I really like the faded series guitars since the necks never get sticky and they feel nice and raw. I was also expecting the neck to be thicker, but it's fairly thin compared to my old Explorers. Overall I'm very happy with it so far. Definitely a steal for $570 IMO.

I dunno, I want to because I love how it looks but it's more expensive and probably won't sound as good.

Looks killer, I've wanted one of those for a long time now........

I love my Faded SG, one of my favorite guitars.

Looks sweet, and at >$600 it's a hell of a deal.

I'm currently jonesing for a faded brown explorer. The faded Gibson stuff rocks!

I dig the looks

Strangely I have never played a V or explorer. I just assumed the V would be neck heavy like some SG's I have played. The Tony Iommi SG I had with 24 frets was so neck heavy, I had to sell it. It was a nice guitar too :(

Love the guitar hate the Color but for the price, you really cant go wrong. Do they Make a faded black Mark?

Yeah, they do. That's the one I actually wanted, but they're pretty hard to find.

I'd get that one painted white, like Schenker's favorite V from the 70's..... in fact, when you sell that one, let me know!

I really like the look of this white Edwards V. Looks just like the ESP one that Mike Amott used to play.
