NGD: Hamer Special

I had been poking around for something to compliment my current guitars and I stumbled across a 1992 Hamer Special at Guitar Riot in CLE.

Within 5 minutes I knew it was gonna leave with me.

Super resonant, played great, and in remarkably good shape for a 34 year old guitar. The price was really sold as there was no case so it was a no-brainer.

It's a ripper!

It is, but it's a darker yellow. Depending on the light it's almost more of a greenish gold (like an aged goldtop).

Very nice! Hamers sometimes fly under the radar but they're are awesome guitars.

I had a '98 Studio that I bought new locally for $699 in that was NOS. Flame top with Duncan humbuckers and wraparound tailpiece. That was a steal!
