What we have here is a fine example of a ~ 1987'ish Ken Hoover era Zion Radicaster. From what I can tell, I think it has an ebony board and the body wood I am not sure of. Definitely not basswood. Any way, it's super clean and very minimal where, especially for an 28 year old guitar. I will likely change out the bridge pickup and maybe the volume pot, as i am not a fan of 250K pots. Plays super smooth.

You need some tight black jeans with some white high top sneakers!

Is it me or does the body look butchered to fit that tremolo? Maybe the paint is throwing me off.

I love that finish too. I have a TA Bowling Ball in black and blue like that.

the route does widen a little, but that was factory. I think there were several bridge options for these and they accommodated them with rerouting the body.

Late 80's Zion guitars are a great find and bang for the buck! The ebony board was pretty much standard on them! I love mine with a Mann (Prs) trem on it and a beautiful quilt top!

I had a trans purple quilt with pearloid pickguard with a maple cap neck.

Great guitar!

Ah ok. Its easier to see on this one. Weird how they did that. These looks like cool guitars. Maybe I'll have to pick one up some day.
