They were only built for a year (at least the EX-1 series they had others like the Talon) back in 89. A side project for Fender in Japan. It has a Floyd licensed Gotoh but I need the arm. It just pops in ( no threads) but none of the five I have fit. Just a bit too round. Know where I can find one or what might work? I see replacements but have no idea if they will fit.
The electronics on this are pretty wild. You can kick in or out the middle pup (they are all single coil) as well as a boost knob and a variable EQ adjustment knob. It really does go from Tele to Strat to Paul to fat ass jazz box. Simply amazing. Very clean considering the year. Serial D89112 for those who collect.
