Found her in a pawn shop, with rusty strings, tarnished frets and just plain dirty.

Cleaned it up, set the truss rod, intonation, etc... it freakin' rocks. I like it better than the Jem I had, neck is thicker, body is thinner, tones are great. Question if anyone knows though...

what the hell is the volume knob pull switch for? I know the tone control splits the coils, but the volume is hard to tell what it does.

I bought it to flip, may just keep it. Pretty neat guitar, and about 50x better than the Korean J100s I've been looking at.

It's been a while since I owned one, but maybe it's a phase switch (only noticeable in the middle position). Or maybe it's a coil tap for the neck pickup, and the bridge's coil tap is on the tone control. Yeah it's definitely been a while since I owned one (about 18 years). :)

Hey James! Saw your new amp on myspace... VERY sweet!

The tone control coil tap hits both pickups at once. I looked it up, and it's some sort of tone thing, but I can't really figure out what it's doing. *?*

Thanks! :)

Oh right, I recall now...it's a high-pass so that when you roll down the volume, it doesn't get dark too quickly.
