NGD: Ibanez RG350MP (maple fretboard)

Haven't posted about any new gear in months...mainly because I haven't actually owned a guitar since around November. I finally decided to buy one last week and this RG350 was basically exactly what I wanted. It's an extremely nice guitar for $430 new. Looks and feels really solid. Sounds pretty good unplugged, but I haven't been able to test it through any amps yet. I'll probably save up and order one of those "new" 5150 1x12 combos sometime in the next couple months. Only problem with the guitar I'd say is that the fret ends are pretty damn sharp. They definitely need filed down, but it's not unplayable by any means. I tuned it down to C and I really like how the Edge Zero-II bridge works. Seems pretty convenient to me. Overall I like it a lot. Also extremely surprised to find real black hardware on an Ibanez instead of the ugly ass cosmo black they seem to use on everything now. And once I do get an amp, I'll probably replace the pickups with Duncans as well. Onto the pics...

looks like a fine guitar. I wonder if they make aftermarket pickguards because pearloid shit bugs me.

Haha, not sure. I was immediately attracted to the guitar because it looks almost exactly like the custom Warmoth/Musikraft Strat I put together a couple years back.

I had an RG350DX in white some time ago, and that looked very similar but rosewood board. Your 350MP looks like it has much better build quality too.

Got a RG350MYE. I put a ToneZone in bridge and Evolution in neck. It's a real decent guitar for the price. Congratz!

Thanks man. My hands are feeling alright. My one finger where I had the blood clot still bothers me when I play, but I bought some of that Rock Tips stuff to try. Hopefully that will work well enough.
