Got this from Rich at ibanezrules.com last week. I couldn't find any reviews for it, and there are no youtube demos (yet...), and no stores near by had it, so i took a chance and bought one online. Rich at ibanezrules.com had the exact guitar used in the catalog shoot and at NAMM. I picked it up with his "silver package", and got it a few hundred cheaper than a new one.

I gotta say, if anyone is thinking about buying a new ibanez guitar, you're cheating yourself if you buy it elsewhere.
The quality of the set up and the fret work Rich does is top notch. I wish every guitar brand had a dealer like him.

This thing played like a dream right out of the box, and i only have to tune it like once a day it seems.
Nice balanced tone, with snappy attack thanks to that maple board. No buzz anywhere on the neck, slick, smooth, oil finish makes it super cozy to play. Coming from years of gibsons and prs', that flat fretboard radius and jumbo fret combination allows me to cruse like never before.

bring on the at the gates, and bloodbath riffing!!

If I buy another Ibanez, I'll try Rich next time. I bought two last year from other supposedly reputable dealers, and both had serious issues. Which is odd because I've bought and sold maybe a dozen used Ibanez guitars without any trouble. But it seems like Rich really puts in the effort to make sure the guitar is right.
