I owned this guitar for many many many years, was my main go-to guitar for everything. A good friend of mine prodded and bugged me about buying it for a long time so I sold it to him cheap a couple years back. I just managed to get it back today!

...And after only using a PRS for the past year+, this is completely alien to me. I forgot how paper thin these necks are.

I have two of these bad boys. Great grab 'n' go gtrs.

Solid as they come. Good score and glad ya got it back!

Congrats.

I had two of them. Sold them off because of the thin necks. Tuning was always spotty. I think it's the thin neck.
I really wanted to like them. I love Ibanez and always wanted a non-trem model.

Just didn't work out, but they are cool.

I had one too, the nut needs tweaking....I got mine shored up and it held it's tuning just fine. Eventually got rid of it though(rga121)....was a little stiff compared to the trem models IMO

It definitely took a lot to get mine set up and intonated right. I've always thought about swapping nuts on it. For whatever reason I can't really get down with big trems like floyds, edges and lo-pros. I fit more with wilkinsons or tune-o-matics, so this is a good fit for me with Ibanez, since they do so little with fixed trems.

Ibanez has discontinued use of this specific bridge, so when/if yours gives out, get a hold of dude at Ibanez rules. I got a replacement from him.

The nut for me didn't need to be changed, just filed down right from a good tech....after that the guitar stayed in tune well and loosened up the bends a bit.. It was a very nice guitar when I had it. I hear ya about the floyds, I love them and started out playing floyded guitars(first electric was a kramer in the 80's lol) but I still love my Les Paul too. For me though the RGA121 just sat lonely next to my 92 rg and always felt a bit stiff compared to it. But it was still an awesome guitar.

I replaced the tuners in mine. The Gotoh 510's hold their tuning better (and are way smoother) than the stock Gotohs.
