Had asked a question on sat, and ended up doing the trade today. USA made(Gibson) Pacer classic. Grover tuners, dimarzio pickups and an original Floyd rose and flame maple neck. I'm not a black/white guy I much prefer bright/loud colors but this slightly sparkly white is sweet!!!! I'm planning on keeping so value isn't a huge factor, but anyone have an idea what it's worth??

Those guitars are currently, IMO, the best superstrat style value going. You can find them for $250-350.

I love the feel of it, finally sat down to play it. Sut pan, is that going price for the imports? I see them new for $369-399. Thinking as made in the USA this is worth more, but I could be wrong. No matter what, it plays beautiful so I dappreciate but I'll part with it any time soon. Thanks guys!!

Thanks guys, I just spent some more time and I'm more in love with it lol. Not 100% sold on the bridge pickup(dimarzio crunch zone) but its, prob gonna grow on me. Seemed kinda harsh/shrilly voiced at first but I worked the knobs on th be-od a little and it's growing on me. Definetly a totally different voicing from the custom wound Bootleg(based off the sd lynch super vee) I have in my main guitar. Very vey happy with this one. Also I did email Gibson to find out if it is in fact made in USA. Not expecting an answer for a few days but I really don't care at this point. This thing is solid and fit and finish is killer. With the exception of my custom build this is by far the best feeling most solid guitar I've played.

What does the neck plate look like?

Broken Fusion, it's a black painted plate with Kramer block logo stamped. No other markings except the logo. Thanks!!

Thanks Marshall Law!! There are differences Fromm the imports that could have been done aftermarket. But the time frame he gave me does match pacers being made at the Gibson factory. Gonna look again, but I think I found a matching neck plate on there. And he told me that it isn't stamped USA or made in USA in the pickup route. Waiting on that email from Gibson, but like I said, very happy with the guitar. Does not feel like a cheap import at all. Other then a custom build I had done, this is the most solid feeling guitar I've touched since my late 90s/early 2000 esp kamikaze 3

Do some research,I believe those USA models run around $700-$750 new..the lower line import ones sell for as low as $150 but for sale regularly for $200 & up.the lower line ones have a Kramer stamped zinc Floyd Rose, kinda like the Floyd Rose specials, and cheaper tuning keys and pickups.they still play good enough.

Thanks Riffer, yeah I'm waiting for an email back from Gibson. Great guitar no matter where it was made. Eminently happy with the trade. And I loved the Burny Super Grade I gave up. But this thing is a keeper for sure.

Chastain played Pacers so I got one too in the 80s
Dig it!!!

Bet it's a USA made one with that nice flamed neck!

Looks just like the off-white one I bought in '83 - when they first came out with Floyds! I actually traded in my '81 Les Paul Standard for it. Gotta love the early 80's!
