Pretty much.......

This thing is sick, having tried a lot of stuff over the years....... there really isn't a lot of stuff quite like this.......

It's not exactly like an 83 Pacer neck/profile...... available on current production top end Pacers like a Vintage or Carrera....... but that neck is so Kramer and there is something about that type of profile. This and the body is just immaculate..... perfect carves, contours and very deep and smooth......No rolled fingerboards but overall the neck is amazing, the pup is great too and honestly all one needs...... a JB with a push/pull...... 3 piece body on this one and pretty thin paint job too just the way I like it.

Overall that Kramer neck is butter and the K Speed Slim Taper C profile is very unique and well very "Kramer" for a lack of a better term and worth it for that aside from the great body, hardware and pups. Super flat 12 radius maple board makes it that much better. There is a finish on it but it's very light and definitely no heavy Gloss garbage you find on Fenders with glossed necks..... just solid finish and great feeling neck overall that really gets nice and fat and comfy as you go up to the 12th fret...... that C Slim Taper and that Kramer feel.......

Pacer body so less depth than a standard Strat body and slightly thinner but still better feeling than a Dinky IMO or more like a Strat relative to a Dinky or other alternate S-Type bodies.......

Very resonant body...... and compared to mid to late 2010 builds this is just nicer and better overall..... better contours and build...... better feeling neck relative to what they made just 5-10 years ago...... honestly as good as it gets for what your getting...... the whole guitar is also very acousticly rich, vibrant and resonant thanks to the overall build and design...... much nicer feeling wood than what they used not to long ago aside from way better builds especially in the body as these contours and work on the bodies are damn near flawless......

Probably only other guitar that has been this resonant, vibrant, acoustic unplugged consistently or in general is the Paisley Tele Sig.......... taken that from it what you will but it says a lot especially to a guitar that sort of is pretty much a modern version of EVHs Kramer 5150.........

Working on making a Sailor Moon Waifu project for this too using custom decals and will make a seperate thread for that but yeah..... overall these things are sick and well worth the price of admission...... these K Speed Slim Taper C necks are no joke and friggin amazing nvm that slick/smooth body as said!!!!!

Chubtone does that guitar way better and way higher quality in every possible imaginable aspect that you could ever even think up or bring up or even think about. So I don't even understand why you would want that guitar or even consider it a guitar, I'd probably donate it to Goodwill.

Idk buy a Chubtone then right.......

Or buy me one no?

In either case I'm not dropping 1500$-2000$ plus (whatever the hell they cost) on something I've never played before because a random person somewhere tells me to...... you or anyone else..... I'm putting my money on what I've tried and what I feel is worth it given my experience over the years and at my discretion... because I don't have that type of money or time to spend otherwise ..... playing this and that made from various decades and places...... playing more than half my life now too......

I ain't driving to where ever the hell they make Chubtones either or whatever to see if they are worth it either no offense to you or Chubtone or whatever......

Given that these things are pretty killer and never played a Chubtone but would be hard pressed if it was any better tbh given the price point and relative to other stuff I've/seen or tried such as Suhr Guitars, Custom Shop Fenders or Charvel MiA......... short of that this aint bad...... not saying this is anywhere near something like that...... but hey honestly these things are pretty killer and the quality is great and yeah not that far off........

We aren't going to space here or trying to figure out warp speed or something and well given todays manufacturing techniques especially when it comes to how tight a guitar can get regarding QC....... it's really hard to do much better than a lot of these imports that go for 800$+ IME.

Kramers for the most part have been imports on average given their history since the 80s.......... and todays QC from Indonesia or China is miles better than whatever was being popped out in the 80s or 90s from MIJ or MiA...... nvm well you even had MIA Kramers that used imported parts such as necks......

Overall yeah these things are pretty killer and well vs whatever else they just kill it and it's hard to replicate that "Kramer Charm" IMO import or no import or whatever one wants to make of it :dunno:

I just don't see why you wouldn't buy a superior Charvel, just a waste of time. Donate it to a local kid or something and step up to the big leagues. Because there's no competition. Definitive broad sweeping statements.

Well in many ways the Charvels are superior...... for a lot of reasons....

Compound radius, rolled fingerboard, dual graphite rods etc etc....... that feel.....

But it's hard to explain but the Kramers while "lesser" one can say in features or modern touches offers a certain vibe....... a familiar vibe even though I've never played them much before.......

Something friendly, known even though its been unknown to me at least forever and well familiar for lack of a better term....... that "Kramer Charm".

Whatever the hell it is........ Gibsons nailed it with these as they have with Epi 59s for example and just Gibson in general now short of Murphy Lab.......... its hard to explain but the Kramer Charm is familiar and just very cozy.

Nvm the Pacer 83 profile or the Snake Sabo....... just something very familiar about the Kramer neck...... like an old friend you've known forever but just met :dunno:

Congrats on the guitar, man!
Thanks man...... yeah I wasn't expecting it to be better than this....... it's definitely gone above and beyond expectations.

The bodies, quality of wood used.......... and overall builds in general are so much better relative to the same Indonesian/Chinese 2010s and pre 2020 models I played not so long ago that were made 5--10 years before these models.........

For example the body doesn't have so much of a U or boat anchor shape and it's pretty much a straight up Fender type/Pacer body....... stupid sleel and way more sleek contours, smooth edges and way deeper carves than the 2010 models or pre 2020s.....

And the necks are just as good as the Pacer 83 Profile but in their own way and yeah the whole package is sweet and not too bad or all that bad...... not that bad I must say and good enough to put smile/smirk on this face ^_^

I've got an '87 Kramer F-3000. (Not the less expensive Focus 3000) That guitar slays giants. When we had to evacuate from the fire last year, I could only take 1 guitar. It was the Kramer. Took the neck off, wrapped it in a towel and threw it in the car with the 3 dogs and off we went. My wife said "I know how much you love that guitar. I'm glad you took it when we evacuated."

Honestly Kramee/Gibson should Reissue that model in the Original series with a full on 87 neck profile. A lot of folks talk about that model and it's probably due for a touch up and a modern repica/revival ^_^

Everyone who plays my F-3000 wants to buy it. Kramer knocked it outta the park when they designed that guitar!

My brother had one of those a couple years ago. Played great, sounded great, but I don't care for top-mount Floyd's. Can't get the action low enough for my tastes or I'd grab one. You can find them pretty cheap. Plus, I need a neck pickup.

Congrats. Hope you are not just going through a honeymoon phase and you really do like it. I had the red one and found it to be dark, muddy and completely uninspiring. Really wanted to love it but was happy to trade it after awhile. For 399…yes….799…. Fuck no…. Maybe I had a turd. I know my bro I traded it to dumped it quick also…
