I have to agree, these 90's studios are real "sleepers". It literally has sustain for days (well not literally![]()
). You can bend a note and it doesn't want to give out and I'm talking unplugged. It also does not appear to have a long neck tenon which supposedly contributes to the tone factor on Gibsons. This guitar seems to debunk that theory to a degree. It may not be the best LP I've played (a recent murphy aged historic slash LP holds that title for me) it certainly will do. That said, I actually bought this guitar to clean up and sell as the tough upper fret access is a deal breaker for me but I may hang on to this for a while to see if I can adapt and overcome

Well, I just played it through my live rig...Something about all of that mahogany and maple and ebony; tough to beat. I need to do a little head-to-head with the other fiddles to see how it truly compares but damn
