This is my first LP - 2012 Traditional Plus, waited all day on UPS yesterday and she showed up at 7pm. Great guitar and great build quality. Hard to photo as its not really that red looking in person

some pics (forgive the crappy iPhone pics)

Haha. Big neck, huge neck joint, no body contours - all crosses you must bear for the sake of HUGE massive tone!

Congrats on the LP. I am curious how much it weighs.... :)

Lol, I was actually surprised on how easy it was to hit any note on the fretboard as well full bends at the 22nd fret. I love the 50's profile. Even on a lot of mt clone builds, the Musikraft necks all look Charvel but have beefier profiles than Charvels.

For me it is the tone pros tail piece that takes time to get used to, from years of floyd bridges some aspects of my playing need adjustments like muted arpegio chord work.

The shorter scale can be fun though.

I swear the UPS man can smell if you're waiting. Watching out the window all day will guarantee a 7PM delivery...

If I'm not home the box is on the porch by 10AM.

Dude, that's one mighty FINE looking Lester  :inlove:

Solid no-chamber, non-weight relieved? What pups are in it? BEAUTY...!! Congrats.

Mo

you know I used to be like that. I couldn't play anything but a Floyd, even if I didn't use the bar I just was so used to the way my hand rests on a Floyd. I literally couldn't play anything else. I think it was all mental or something. Back when I got my JCF01 I had no problem at getting used to it right away and I don't know why. Now I can play standard trems, floyds, stop bars...etc it doesn't matter. I still prefer the Floyd though,

that is so true, I took off Thursday (and Fri) and was hoping for a early or mid day delivery. I thought I heard the truck so many times my ears were playing tricks on me. If I would have been at work, it would have been sitting on my front porch at 10am. I was actually checking the UPS tracking at 7pm to see if they changed the delivery date when the dude showed up.

Well done! Awesome Lester. I have a 11 Trad Plus in Honeyburst. My photos always show too much red in the finish. I'm gonna learn how to take a decent pic one day.

Congrats!

Traditionals are weight relieved but not chambered like the normal standards. They are weight relieved which is basically a few swiss cheese holes.

I just weighed this on a digital bathroom scale, came in at 9.6 lbs
