NGD...LTD GL-600V..UPS came thru - mini review

..might be good for a spin round the block, looks kinda like a star trek badge..lols:

Mahogany body...Custom Custom in the bridge...should be good for some crunchy tones...$425...and for eye gouging if nothing else :D

Hmm..first thing I'm gonna say about this guitar is that it's freaking light....like 5 or 6lbs or something...and feels like you are picking up plastic not wood...did they chamber this thing....?

....and the first issue is, string broke in transit..bah, too lazy to re=string, who needs a high E? :D

....now we see the big design flaw....the neck scale vs the body shape, it's headstock heavy....and drops down so you end up supporting wit hthe fretting hand .. wondering how I'm a gonna fix that..re-locate a strap button is coming up I'm sure.

I'm sure the light weight vs. the general cheapness is why they put the Custom Custom in it....since that seemingly produces a good crunchy tone without a decent bit of wood behind it.

Have to re-string and set this puppy up..it's not horrible as shipped but I want the pickups a bit higher for sure.

That's pretty much std. for the Lynch sigs I thought? Never had problems with it particularly
 
I love V shaped guitars and Star Trek, but i just can't see me ricking that... even for $425.

hmm..I think I'd pity anyone who spent $899 to $1k on one of these. :aww:

Anyone got any idea on moving strap buttons? Looks like the neck one is as close to the body edge/neck as I'd like to go already :-/
