Well I'm a sucker for trans black tops and I've always wanted to try a Luxxtone. Found this El Machete at a good enough price to give it a shot. Dang what an awesome axe! I'd heard about the necks on these and I'd say it lives up to the hype. The Luxxbuckers are cool but I'll probably put something in a bit hotter and tighter. And here she is next to my #1 - Tremonti Baritone.

Specs:
Mahogany body, flamed maple top, quartersawn oiled flame maple neck
Ebony board, MOP inlays, 12-16 compound radius, SS 6100 jumbos, 25.5"
OFR, hipshot tuners, aged black "tumbled" hardware throughout, custom Luxxtone knobs
Luxbucker Hot/Luxbucker Neck

Niiice! Happy NGD!

Have heard so much good things about Luxxtone, especially glorious fretwork. Hope it lived up to the hype ??

Jerry does awesome work all the way around!

Congratulations!

Thanks fellas! She's a looker and the feel is outrageous. 12-16 compound radius with big ol' SS jumbos and the drop top is super comfy. Loving it through the Herbert but the Luxxbuckers are coming out. I've got an uncovered set of PRS Metal pickups that should fit with minor filing of the ears. Or can't go wrong with a Black Winter
