It's been a while since I've owned a high end guitar. The last really good guitar I had was a Tom Anderson Cobra. This guitar is definately every bit as good as any Tom Anderson or Suhr that I've played.

I've read nothing but good things about those guitars. Looks great!! Congrats and enjoy.

She's a beauty, never played one of those, but have read some good stuff about them. Nice score   I like that flamed koa!!

I love my Melancon! It's my most versatile guitar. Looks beautiful, too.

Congrats! :)

I love those guitars that actually look like a piece of wood...

Congrats

After playing for several hours, the feel is very close to my old Anderson Cobra. I'm typically an H/H pickup guy, but there is something about these custom H/S/S that perfectly match this guitar. It is the most balanced sounding guitar I have owned, both unplugged and plugged in, it resonates beautifully. The humbucker is not hot, but it sounds huge, I would put it close to an Anderson H02 pickup.

Here's mine. It has the studio switching on it, which converts the hums into singles. Very resonant and chimy.

Thats funny, I just realized I could split the hum after reading your post. I feel stupid!
