Actually got this about a week or two ago, but didn't take any pics until this morning. I just had to get another guitar like this after selling my old GMW DeMartini, that was the only guitar I've ever regretted selling. So far this one is filling the void really well. The neck is amazing on it. It's really nice and raw and the flame looks killer. The Floyd has a brass block and is also blocked off, so this thing sustains forever. It weighs a ton too, which I'm a fan of. I know I never keep anything, but I honestly can't see myself ever selling the neck from this guitar. I am considering getting a replacement body, just because I want a really nice quilted maple top and 2 humbuckers, but I'm definitely enjoying this guitar a lot.

Mahoganey body?

Nah, it's just a standard alder body. It's a pretty heavy piece of alder though.

Yeah... Alder is heavy, but it's nice and warm. To be honest, I like it alot more than straight mahogany.
It's a sweet guitar man. Musikraft makes awesome stuff...

I don't mind alder with the right pickup, I just tend to prefer mahogany. This one has a Duncan Distortion in it which seems to work pretty well.

Sweet looking guitar, Mark! That neck looks amazing! I've always wondered how good are the Musikraft necks and bodies and do they make the best fender/charvel type of necks?

Mine has the San Dimas neck profile, but they have a bunch of different profiles you can pick from.

My son's San Dimas Charvel has a DD in the bridge and an alder body... sounds great!

So Musikraft makes great necks/bodies? It's such a shame that GMW won't do any strat headstock necks anymore. :(

Congrats on the new guitar --- that's some really nice figuring on the maple neck & fingerboard!

Beautiful build! Musikraft makes some great stuff...especially their necks.

Love that color scheme with the black hardware on purple. Great looking guitar, Mark!

Killer looking fiddle Mega! Sounds better than the Warmoth I take it?
