and NPD = New Pedal Day. (got my Tech 21 Character Series Liverpool pedal too)

I'm a big Rickenbacker fanboi, but there's been one guitar I've wanted since I was a kid, and I found a great deal on a new one, in the color I wanted, with a case which does not come standard. Not really my style anymore, but WTH, it should be a good hard rock guitar with what I hope are hot set of DiMarzio's...

I'll post pics later when I have them, but here is the manufacturers page

Better pics are here: http://www.proguitarshop.com/product.php?ProductID=914&CategoryID=494

Your banned from the Ric guitar club now. No Ric owners can own and Ibinhad guitar

Congrats, time to rock

Blackba, I figured as much. :D Spoiled by my Rics, the finish on the Iceman is nice, but its not anywhere near the quality of a Ric.

Iceman - Made in Indonesia. :aww: The guitar, overall is quite nice though. Good fit and finish for a guitar in this price range, better than many I've seen at GC or SA. Much heavier than my Rics, the strap I'm using is slippery so the headstock wants to take the neck down horizontal, action needs adjusting, and the intonation is slightly off, but otherwise not bad for the price.

TC Electronics Character Series Liverpool Pedal - does a great Brian May impression if that's your thing. But, using the Iceman, I was able to nail a very satisfactory vintage Vox twang, in a matter of minutes (like 2 or less). Took me much longer on the Axe-Fx, and ToneLab FWIW. I'm going to go back and work with it a bit more tonight, plan to use it with my Ric 330 tomorrow which will be the true test to determine if its a keeper.

PSA 1.1 is on the way, should be here next week; and if things go well the next few days with the Liverpool, I'll be ordering the British pedal from the Character Series.

I'm impressed with the sound quality of this pedal. It gets me very close to what I want tonewise for vintage Vox. A little compression, some reverb, should be quite good. Still in disbelief that it worked so well, with so little effort to dial in.

The Liverpool pedal sounds cool. Very curious to see how it sounds with the Ric 330.

I love my new Ric 360 with my '66 Vox AC50, its a great combo, tried and true...

Cool guitbox man! Makes me miss my black Iceman, the only Ibanez electric I've ever owned.

You're gonna love the PSA btw. I have the original version, and it treats me well. It's especially killer on bass.

I think you have the Vox sound covered there! The Liverpool is getting me there. Still in disbelief, the 330 test will tell me for sure. I was going to try the new AC4 since its $250 for an all tube Vox, but now I'm not too sure I need it (I was also considering the AC15 hand wire, but the price is up there, and I still wouldn't have the early Marshall tones (JTM/Plex) - which are covered by the PSA 1.1 or British pedal.

Yes, I always wanted the Iceman, the Paul Stanley model would be my first choice, but I'd have to do something about the huge KISS logo on the case!  But the white version is really nice. I'd prefer chrome hardware on it though, and white pickups with a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge...

Thanks for the positive info on the PSA. Doesn't seem like the Tech 21 gear gets much love here on Rig-Talk? :D The guy I bought it from used it on bass too. I don't know of many guitarists using it though? I need to spend some time learning the character controls, but if it works as well as the Liverpool pedal has so far, I'm going to be in tone-land! Plus, the PSA has the early Marshall tones I'm after according to the manual.

Looking forward to getting the PSA within the week, seller should be shipping it today.
