Just got the Ibby 565 a week or so ago. Changed the stock pups to a Norton and Chopper.

Always wanted to try the Norton.
Quick review...it's kinda like a Swiss army knife pu...It does everything well...Not too hot..not underpowered....great meaty mids...present lows..top end has just enough to cut without being harsh. The Chopper fills the bill in this style pickup combo...has beef but still retains a nice single coil-ness to it. They both split well.
Slapped a demo together to try it out. Mix is a little uneven but gets the job done.

@Skolphy working now. Sounded very good and serious solid playing too. The RG565 is one guitar missing in my Ibanez collection.

I recently modded one of my RG550 to have a 565 vibe. I put an AT-1 and Area 61 (neck). The black RG was also converted to a SSS setup using a set of Rose pickups I had waiting for a project.

Sweet!!! I too just got an RG a few months ago. I love love it!🥰 it’s so light.
