NGD: Pointy Content - Balaguer Tartarus

So Joe teased this last April Fools Day and I’ve wanted one ever since.

This is a NAMM prototype. Got a very good deal on it with a Balaguer hard shell case.

I’ll post better pics tomorrow.

Specs:
• Mahogany Body
• Roasted Maple Neck (Comfy C)
• Ebony fretboard
• Reverse Modern Headstock
• Balaguer Feral Bridge/Evergreen Neck
• Metallic Black

It was heavier than I expected but damn does it have a thick ass tone. All pickup positions sound really good on the 5-way.

The hard shell Balaguer case is also REALLY nice.

Yeah this feels like a Warrior meets Xiphos. Pretty sure SS frets are on all guitars. I was really pleased when I first pulled this guy out and just sat and played it in my office. Really resonant not plugged in and is just a really full sounding guitar.

The Feral in the bridge in this guy rips. I didn’t like I in my green Archetype also pictured above.

One hell of a guitar though, as I said on GGF..Looks killer and beefy.

I love that shape. I am not a V guy or anything like that at all mostly because I am so short and they have all been hard to play while sitting but damn,,,,,This is the coolest body shape next to a Warlock IMO.

This is the correct.

SS should come on Heritage models too

That thing is sick. How do you like the Balaguer hard tail compared to the hipshot? From what Joe told me, they're solid brass too. Any vids/clips of it coming out soon?

I keep seeing all these cool builds and I'm getting more and more stoked for my semi custom to come in.
