NGD - PRS Custom 24

Wanted a PRS since I started learning at the age of 14 and I'm now 32, so it only took 18 years!

I've always wanted a proper guitar with a blue faded burst (got a trans blue Epiphone and have been fixated with that colour since - blue guitars float my boat!) and this came up at Anderton's so I snapped this up as soon as it came to my attention.

This is a once in a lifetime purchase, but honestly, this thing plays like a dream. Very happy!

Love me some PRS! That color is great! Let me know what you think of the 85/15 pickups! (If it's a 2016 model anyway). My next PRS will be a faded whale blue P24 if I can find it with the right options, meaning a natural neck and back.

Thanks guys. I really love the 85/15's, I can't compare them to the 59/09's as I never tried them, but the 85/15's are just right to give you a massive range of tones. It's a late 2015 model.

I actually looked at a Faded Whale when I found this one and asked the guy to send pics of both. I think the Whale blue had better grain than mine - absolutely love that grain...

Was that pre or post the model year change? The 2015 models came with 59/09s but if it was a 2016 model made in 2015 it would have the 85/15s.

Ah right, I didn't know. Cool, it's a 2016 model, with 85/15s made in October 2015

PRS Whale blues are black backs and necks.

PRS Whale blues are black backs and necks.

Artist Package has natural neck and back options.
