This just arrived yesterday, and I'd say it's every bit as good as what I've read about these models so far! The playability is fantastic...just as good as my other Suhrs. The factory setup was perfect. The Suhr gigbag it came in, is by far the best quality gigbag I have ever seen in my life. I haven't been a Floyd guy for several years, but I thought it'd be nice to have one in my arsenal again and I must say that I am quite pleased with it. Build-quality wise, it appears that there was great attention to detail given....very solid, tight neck joint, etc. Tonally, I agree with most that say it's about 85%-90% as good as a Suhr. It comes equipped with the very popular Suhr SSH+/SSV pickup combo. I opted for the "Standard" Rasmus model, sense the neck (.800-.880) is closer to the GG necks on my Moderns that I love, than the "Modern" Rasmus model....and also, because I already have three Moderns anyways. For anyone that likes Suhrs, I think these Rasmus models are a bargain.

Rasmus S200 in Black Metallic (***The sparkly metallic flakes don't show up as much in person as they do in the photos....just my camera)

Cool. Good to hear it compares favorably to the US Suhrs...you would seem to know since have both. I am considering a Rasmus Govan model...

I'd say go for it! I honestly believe these are quite different from your run-of-the-mill import models. Most import models that I've run across always seem to have some flaws in one way or another. John is so fanantical when it comes to quality and attention to detail....that he won't accept any of the models if they find any issues. I love the fact that they do the final inspection, assembly, and plek at Suhr HQ here in the states. It just about guarantees quality. Where as a lot of other companies just rely on the overseas companies to deal with their import models fully.

Seems like they have a decent QC over there. More than you could say for USA Gibsons.

Very nice. I'm thinking about snagging one of the Rasmus Guthrie Govan sig models next year. Always wanted an all mahogany super strat and that would do the job without breaking the bank on the Suhr version.

That is fucking awesome! Nice man. Where'd you get it, if you don't mind me asking?

Alpha Music....there are a couple of them just like mine on eBay right now also.

That guitar with a maple board would be hot. Still very nice though.
