Any feedback on it being a better unit that the 1000 ?

This is my second gotoh and I actually like them better than the original German Floyds. The fine tuners seem to have more range and a better feel. The bar is push in with an adjustable collar to adjust bar tension. The quality is also on par with the German OFR

It's new to me. It's actually a 2008 model.

IMHO, I like the feel and tone better than the Alder Modern I owned with the same pickups
