Just got this yesterday and I love it! After getting the Neon Drip I fell in love and wanted another. I also wanted a Frost finish, but couldn't decide on Black Ice, Blue Chill, Lime Freeze or Lemon Freeze. So, I figured why not mix them up. :D I took a lot of specs from the Limited run Shreds, but added things I felt were missing: Basswood body, Indian Rosewood board, offset MOP inlays, MOP Suhr logo and DSV/DSH pickups for variety. She lives up to my expectations. Sorry for the mediocre pics. I setup a little photo station, but was banned from the fancy Nikons because my wife has a wedding to shoot tomorrow and doesn't trust me. All you get is iPad pics. :aww:

Better pics will be added when the sun comes out and I get a pro (my wife) to shoot some outdoors in the sunlight with an awesome camera. These pics do not do this guitar justice.

As a fan of swirl finishes this gets me very wet haha awesome!

Wow! How did you get a build slot for that one Drew? They are out a long time I thought. That's killer. I bet it plays incredible. Suhr guitars are great. Just precise machines with playability and tone.

Thanks guys, I really love it. It's been hard to put down.

I was lucky enough to find an April build slot at the end of February. Not sure if someone dropped out or what, but I just consider it lucky. Suhrs are incredible pieces of work. I consider myself very lucky to own some great guitars.

I dont think I have ever seen a better looking suhr. I would have reversed the headstock though :)

The flipped headstock was definitely on my mind, but the Neon Drip has the reverse and I wanted to go a little more subtle with the one.

To say they are anal about each guitar is an understatement. They build every guitar like they were building it for John himself. Quote Unquote. The smallest imperfection kicks it out of QC and back through a process. They use thin finishes. You might be surprised how easy it is, even for a master builder, to burn through it with a buffer. And back through paint it goes. Suhr is meticulous. About as close to perfection as I have seen.

I was at Suhr once purchasing a Modern and we were walking past John's office. He called us in and took the guitar and pointed out a very small imperfection in the finish on the back and gave me a great discount. He noticed it as we walked by about 6 feet from him. Amazing. Great guitars for sure. Nice score Drew

Dude....wow. Way to spec out a guitar/finish. Killer job!

Nice axe you wild man. Both versions of the Suhr Modern Shred and this? :D

Scarily similar paint scheme to my Sadowsky
