Hey guys! So I received my new Switchback Miura. This is my second Switchback guitar; my first being a Countryboy.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike. He sent me pics along the way and consulted me on every little detail. Within 2 days of the guitar being finished and shipped, I had Miura serial # 001 at my door. Not to mention his pricing is super affordable for a poor musician like myself.
The Miura is a Jazzmaster inspired guitar, but I added some modern options. I loved the Gotoh trem he put on my Countryboy, so I kept that. For pickups, I had him install his own P90 and humbucker. The rest you can pretty much see: flamed maple neck, rosewood board, matching headstock, mint pickguard, clay dot inlays, 12'' radius, stainless frets, hipshot locking tuners, baby blue finish.
The guitar is an absolute pleasure to play and sounds great! The shape and vintage design is a bit of a departure for me, but I'm really digging the vibe on this one. I'll be doing a video review on this very soon!
