Good day today as I love Gibson Les Paul Specials from the 1950's.

Was fortunate enough to get the call from a small guitar shop down South who .I have bought tons of guitars from over the years. They had this 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special walk in with the original owner. One phone call to me and its on the FedEx truck. Should be here Thursday.

Was told it sounds like Leslie West, very hot pick ups. This one wont be here for a couple days. That said I have a few of these and they are some of the best guitars ever made in my and lots of others opinions. Just Wicked.

I'd be curious to know as well.

I bought this for myself personally not intending to resell. They are on Gbase.com from $10-$20K depending on condition. I would be on the low side of that for cash if I were to offer it up.

F#*K I was counting on winning the $335 Million tonight in the Mega Millions to pay for this thing and didn't pull the winning number.

(Funnily enough I did impulse buy $100 worth of quick picks at 7/11 which was a fools gamble but WTF would of been great if it hit, Les Pauls for everyone )

Beautiful plank, Brad. Got a 59 Junior here with a 10K P90 in it (double cut), it's the fucking bomb. When you come by next week, we'll drag out my old wood and give them all a spin in the demo room.

Carpet goes in tomorrow, bathroom almost done, it's being finished in the morning. Can't wait to put guitar hanger/hooks on the wall, and line up those cabs/amps.
